Weekend Inspiration
I had the opportunity to visit the Olympic Peninsula this last weekend. My explorations in nature rekindled the feeling of wonder and the unknown that I loved as a kid -when new mysterious places were a chance for adventure. The dark, ruggedness of the coastline up here fills my heart with desire to tell stories. I remember this feeling from an early age visiting the Oregon coast and the San Juan Islands when I would make treasure maps and imagine secret hideouts. There’s something about the shadows here that are just bright enough that you might see something moving, but not really be able to know what it was, or if you really saw it.
I hope these photos inspire you to create stories for yourself of what lies around the bend, behind the outcropping, in the trees, or beneath the water.
